Artificial Intelligence (AI) has evolved significantly since its inception in 1956. Today, AI is categorised into Narrow AI, which excels in specific tasks like facial recognition and medical diagnostics, and Generative AI, which creates data based on learned patterns. As a researcher at Lafan, I utilize AI to manage and analyse vast datasets, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. Despite its limitations, such as context understanding and potential inaccuracies, AI remains an invaluable tool in research, provided we maintain human oversight and prioritise data privacy.
