Lafan Creu’s Highlights (so far!)
Lafan's marketing and communications arm, Lafan Creu, has been up and running for a few months by now, so we want to take the opportunity to look back at some of our biggest successes to date. From supporting small businesses to securing national media coverage, here are some of the highlights we're proud of!
1. Supporting 10 SMEs with their communications
Supporting charities and SMEs in Wales is at the heart of our work. We are proud that we have been able to win new clients and make a difference to so many of them in a short time, helping them to improve their communication strategy and reach new audiences. There's even more in the pipeline!
2. Secured a slot on a Prynhawn Da sofa
One of the most effective ways to raise a profile is through brand ambassadors – people who live and breathe your organisation's values. That's exactly what we did with Carys, CEO of Aloud, who had a slot on Prynhawn Da to promote the new Aloud Voices choir. The interview was natural, passionate and a huge success in reaching a new audience!
3. Building PR links in specialist sectors
Putting together the right story for the right audience is essential for effective PR. Working with Anna Roberts, an Anglesey entrepreneur with experience in property and storage solutions, we put together a bespoke story to promote her new book, Home Buyer's Essentials. Through this work, we further expanded our PR relationships in specialist areas such as property, business and storage solutions.
4. Growing Aloud Cymru's following organically (and a mini-viral hit!)
Aloud Cymru's social media following has grown to almost 800 new followers – a growth of 34.6% in just three months! How? Through a combination of creative Reels giving a behind-the-scenes look at Only Boys Aloud and Aloud Voices, breathing new life into videos from previous performances. One Reel was a huge success, reaching 44.4k viewers and 1.2k likes completely organic!
5. Put plans in place for a new, exciting network for Wales' creative entrepreneurs
The creative sector in Wales is full of talent and energy, and we're proud to be part of a new initiative to support them. Tonic is the new network designed to bring creative entrepreneurs together, providing a space to share ideas, build connections and grow businesses. The initiative will be a unique opportunity to build a strong community of individuals who share the same aspirations and creativity.
We're just getting started, and we're looking forward to supporting more businesses and charities across Wales. If you have a project that requires a strategic and creative approach to communication, please get in touch!
